@biorhythm85  Chamberlain was not at all a strong man. He let the Germans do as they please while he attempted to appease them. I think you're reading into whats not there.

I know you said there is no symbolism but I like the idea that America Rallied around Roosevelt, who was a weak man, while the rest of the world rallied to physically strong men. FDR couldn't walk and yet he pulled America out of the Great depression and then a victor in WW2. I imagine himself has feeling himself a part of America, while the other leader see their greatest has something separate from the greatness of their countries. Thank you.

Классная работа! Эх, увидеть бы еще русских и немецких военачальников. Жукова, Рокоссовского, Конева. Из немцев Роммеля, Манштейна, Гудериана. Ну и Отто Скорцени, его-то опознать легко будет :) Браво!

Hitler was born in Austria, but he was for one big Germany. He expanded Germany by the Anschluss and taking over Sudetenland+Czechoslovakia.

But if you are referring to the other flags. The red one is for the Kriegsmarine (navy). The black one w/the symbols that look like S's or to other people lightning bolts is the SS. Both are associated w/Nazi Germany.

Sorry if I seemed critical or anything.

It's the leader of Vichy France. They were the fascist government that Germany installed into France after they were defeated, while the Free French continued to fight.

I understand that these were the main players in WWII, but it seems that countries such as Canada are largely forgotten. Nowadays people consider WWII Canada a glorified pacifist breadbasket. On the contrary, Canada joined WWII before the United States and as Britain's main ally. We Canadians played an essential part in D-day, invading Juno Beach, liberating the Netherlands and playing an importand role in liberating Belgium. The Dutch declaired May 5th, Liberation Day, in our honour and continue to have strong relations with Canada. I just wish people would give us our dues.

I do, however have great respect for the other players in WWII especially people like FDR, Hirohito, Erwin Rommel and General Eisenhower.
