He is one of my favorite modern writers.
I really want to make his Story of mr Sommer as my graduation project on animation faculty, and I will, goddammit!
And I hate the fact, that everybody love Perfume so much. It's the most simple of all his books (it doesn't mean that I don't like this book, but still x)))

I haven't read much of his work, but if you say Perfume is simple, I think I am going to like the rest of his books.

Perfume is the only Suskind's book I've read so far, but I have a really strong memory of it... its story (and its lead character) is simple yet disturbing. :fear:

I won't lie, Perfume was the first of his books that I read, but then I finally branched out and read his other books, too.

Hmm...I haven't heard of him (then again I'm in high school and I have yet to read many great authors X3) but I must lookk into him now. Is there anything you can suggest as a first time reader of his work?

I feel bad for only having seen the movie... This stamp will inspire a reading of the book then! : )
